Railway Ministry should probe matter soon- whether track was broken or it's a plot against Centre: Joshi

New Delhi: The Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) MP from Kanpur Murli Manohar Joshi has given a controversial statement related with Patna-Indore express train derailment in Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. "Railway ministry should probe matter soon- whether track was broken or it's a plot against Centre," he said reported ANI. Opposition party Congress has hit the government over the issue. "Unfortunate; we talk about running bullet trains when we are unable to run these safely, judicial probe must be ordered" Rajeev Shukla of Congress said reported ANI. Meanwhile, Kanpur divisional commissioner Mohammad Iftikharuddin said that-"Two coaches are completely smashed; 97 bodies recovered till now". Saving lives most important: UP CM Addressing media UP CM Akhilesh Yadav said-"Saving lives most important, every possible help is being given". AKHILESH "First we must concentrate on saving people", CM said. "I spoke to Railway Minister and have assured that State Govt will provide whatever help needed in the rescue ops; politics can wait", he said. MoS Railways Manoj Sinha has reached the accident spot where Patna-Indore express train derailed. Fourteen coaches of the Indore-Patna express train has derailed today near Pukhrayan area in Kanpur. The accident occurred around 3 am today when passengers were sleeping.
