Parliament Security Breach: Bengaluru Techie, Son Of Ex Top Cop, Detained By Delhi Police
A software engineer was detained from Karnataka's Bagalkote by Delhi Police Special Cell in Parliament security breach case.
A software engineer was detained by Delhi Police Special Cell on Thursday in connection with the December 13 Parliament security breach case, reported PTI. The detainee, identified as Saikrishna Jagali was picked up from his house at Vidyagiri in the district headquarters town of Bagalkote on Wednesday night.
Jagali, son of retired Deputy Superintendent of Police, who works in a multinational company in Bengaluru is said to be a friend of Manoranjan D, a Mysuru resident who is one of the accused in the case.
According to the PTI report, Jagali and Manoranjan were roommates during his college days.

Jagali's detention was confirmed by his sister Spanda who said that a team of Delhi police came and took her brother along. "It is true that the Delhi Police came. My brother was interrogated. We have fully cooperated with the inquiry," she said.
Claiming that her brother has done "nothing wrong", Spanda said "Both Manoranjan and Saikrishna Jagali were roommates. Now my brother works from home."
A total of six people have been arrested in the case who were confronted by Delhi Police on Wednesday.

All the six accused were kept in different units of Delhi Police's Special Cell where they underwent sustained interrogation.
After the questioning, all of them were handed over to the Counter Intelligence Unit office of the Special Cell, the unit that has been probing the matter.
Out of all the six accused, police custody of accused Manoranjan, Amol, Sagar and Neelam was extended till January 5 on Thursday when their inital seven-day remand was scheduled to expire.
