J-K: Sixth Terrorist’s Home Blown Up As Forces Ramp Up Action After Deadly Pahalgam Attack; Visual Surfaces
In the aftermath of the attack in Pahalgam, the houses of six terrorists or their associates have been razed by authorities in the Kashmir Valley.

A massive crackdown on terrorists is underway in Kashmir as the administration, with the help of security forces, has demolished the homes of several of the terrorists. In the latest operation, the house of Farooq Ahmed, a Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist currently based out of Pakistan, was blown up in Kupwara, reports India Today. This was the sixth such action following the attack in Pahalgam.

According to news agency PTI, the houses of six terrorists or their associates have been razed by authorities in the Kashmir Valley. News agency PTI quoting officials also reported that the houses of the alleged terrorists were demolished in the Pulwama, Shopian, Kupwara and Kulgam districts of Kashmir during the past 24 hours.
Earlier, the houses of the two Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists, including that of the Pahalgam terror attack's prime suspect, were destroyed when explosives believed to be stored there went off on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday.
According to news agency PTI, raids were carried out at more than 60 places on Saturday in Srinagar to dismantle the terrorist ecosystem. The search operations in the Anantnag district were carried out round the clock as security forces has stepped up violence.
Mobile vehicle checkpoints have been put up across the district to monitor any suspicious movement, an officials said as quoted by news agency PTI. The security forces are going after the known terrorist associates and their sympathisers across the length and breadth of the Valley to create deterrence against any Pahalgam-like attacks, the official further added.
Terrorists on Tuesday opened fire in Baisaran, a popular tourist spot in the upper reaches of Pahalgam in Anantnag district, killing 26 people, mostly holidayers from other states -- an incident that has spiked India-Pakistan tensions, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserting that the killers would be pursued to the ends of the earth.
Meanwhile, the Pakistani military carried out unprovoked firing all across the Line of Control for a second consecutive night and Indian troops effectively responded to them, military sources said on Saturday. No casualties were reported in the firing, reports news agency PTI. On the night of April 25 and 26, unprovoked small arms firings were carried out by various Pakistan Army post all across the LoC in Kashmir, a source said as quoted by news agency PTI, adding, Indian troops responded appropriately with small arms.
The Pakistan military has been put on high alert following India's assertion that it would hunt down the terrorists involved in the Pahalgam strike.
