No Problem Anywhere In India: Devendra Fadnavis On Salman Khan's 'Problem in India' Comment Over Death Threats

Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis said that there was no problem in Mumbai or anywhere in India for Bollywood actor Salman Khan.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday said that there was no problem in Mumbai or anywhere in India for Bollywood actor Salman Khan and that he has been given adequate security. The comments came in response to Salman Khand's remarks that he feels safe in UAE while there is a 'problem in India'. Khan's statement came during an interview in Dubai where he asked about death threats that he has received recently from different gangs in India.

"There is no problem for him (Salman Khan) in Mumbai or anywhere in India. He has been given full security," Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis said on the security threat to Salman Khan.

Salman said that there was no fear of threats and he was totally safe in the UAE but he added that there is a problem in India. He further said that he is doing whatever he has been asked to do and is being 'very careful'.

Notably, Salman Khan received a death threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and also a threat call and letter from two different persons.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan received another death threat from a caller named Rocky on Monday night. This comes a couple of days after the actor bought a bullet-proof SUV amid threats by criminal Lawrence Bishnoi's gang.

On April 10, a caller called the police control and said that he would kill Salman Khan on the 30th. Identifying himself as Rocky Bhai, he said that he hails from Jodhpur and is a cow protector there. This call was received by the control of Mumbai Police at 9 pm on Monday night.

As per an ANI tweet, "In a call received at Police Control Room yesterday, a man who identified himself as Roki Bhai from Rajasthan's Jodhpur threatened to kill actor Salman Khan on April 30. Further investigation underway: Mumbai Police"

Salman Khan recently purchased a stylish white bulletproof Nissan SUV amid death threats from multiple sources. He also obtained a weapons license earlier, as the Lawrence Bishnoi gang constantly threatened to kill him and his family. Salman Khan, who has already been granted Y-Plus Security coverage, is not taking any chances.

Bishnoi had even proclaimed in an interview that his life goal was to "kill Salman Khan", even as the security cover for the actor and his celeb family was stepped up a few weeks ago.
