'There's Still Time...': Salman Khan Talks About His Marriage Plan, Adopting A Child

Salman Khan was questioned about whether he planned to pen an autobiography about his relationships.

New Delhi: Salman Khan admitted that, most likely as an outcome of his own shortcomings, he has been 'unlucky in love'. The actor was questioned on the chat show 'Aap ki Adalat' about whether he planned to pen an autobiography about his relationships.

While responding to the question, Salman said that his love stories will go with him to the grave.

When asked if he planned to get married, he responded, "Jab aisa koi aayegi, toh ho jayega, Sir (when somebody will come, it will happen). Actually, sabhi achhe hain (all my previous girl friends were good), the fault lies in me. When the first one left, it could have been her fault, when the second one and then the third one left, there could be faults with them, but with the fourth one, doubt creeps in whether fault lies with them or me."

"In the fifth case, it could have been 60:40. But when more was left, it was then confirmed that it was my fault. None of them had any fault. It is only my fault. Probably a kind of fear in their mind that I may not be able to give them happiness in life. I am sure they are all happy wherever they are," the actor added.

The chat show host informed the star that everyone is curious as to when he will be married. "Jab Ooper Walah chahega, Sir (When God Almighty wills so). Two individuals are needed for marriage. In the first case, marriage did not happen. When I said yes, somebody said, no. When somebody said yes, I said no. Now there is 'no' from both sides. When both sides say 'yes', the marriage will take place. There's still time. I am 57. I want this time to be the first and last. Matlab ek biwi honi chahiye," he added.

Salman also revealed that he wanted to adopt a child and raise it as his own.

He said, "Abhi kya bolu woh toh plan tha. Plan tha. Bahu ka nahi tha, baccha ke tha ((What to say, that was the plan. It wasn't for a daughter-in-law, it was for a child)."

Meanwhile, Salman Khan's ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ closed its first week on a strong note. The film directed by Farhad Samji was released on April 21 on Eid.
