Three more Rajya Sabha MPs, including AAP MP Sushil Kumar Gupta, have been suspended for the remainder of this week.
New Delhi: Three more Rajya Sabha MPs, including AAP MP Sushil Kumar Gupta, were suspended for the remainder of this week, Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh Narayan Singh said on Thursday.
AAP MPs Sushil Kumar Gupta, Sandeep Kumar Pathak, and Independent MP Ajit Kumar Bhuyan were suspended from Rajya Sabha this week for disrupting house proceedings, news agency ANI reported.
This comes after seven members of the TMC, six from the DMK, three from the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), two from the Communist Party of India (Marxist), and one each from the Communist Party of India (CPI) and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) were suspended on Monday and Tuesday.

Twenty suspended Rajya Sabha members Wednesday started a 50-hour relay protest inside the Parliament complex as the Opposition leaders declined the Chairman's offer that their suspension would be revoked if they express regret for their behaviour in the House.
The RS MPs were later joined by four Congress MPs who have also been suspended from Lok Sabha for the remainder of the Monsoon session, news agency PTI reported.
The Rajya Sabha MPs are holding the protest near the Gandhi statue and stayed at the site through the night.
"We'll not apologise as we haven't done anything wrong. We have raised the issue of common people. The country is suffering from price rise and raising that issue is not wrong: TMC MP Shanta Chhetri said, as quoted by ANI.
AAP MP Sanjay Singh said, "I want the Modi government and the Parliamentary Affairs Minister to apologise to the people of Gujarat. BJP has been ruling there for 27 years, several people died in the state after drinking spurious liquor. I wanted to have discussions on this issue in Parliament."
The Opposition parties have been protesting in the Parliament over their demands related to price rise and imposition of GST by the Centre on some items of daily use.
A total of 27 MPs including 23 Rajya Sabha MPs and 4 Lok Sabha MPs have been suspended during the ongoing Monsoon session of Parliament.
