Modi babu knows demonetisation now derailed. Except giving 'bhashan', he has no solution: Mamata

New Delhi: Within minutes of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech in Deesa city in Gujarat, supporting demonetisation, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee criticised his "bhashan". "Modi babu knows that demonetisation now derailed. Except giving bhashan, he has no solution", she tweeted. Supporting his demonetisation move PM Narendra Modi during a rally on Saturday said, the government is ready to debate but not being allowed to speak in Lok Sabha. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was here to inaugurate Rs 350 crore cheese plant at Banaskantha in Gujarat. Supporting his decision PM said-"Demonetisation has broken the backbone of terrorism and Naxalism. I am fighting against terrorism as fake currency is fueling and funding their activities". "Games of looting the poor and exploiting the middle class will now be history. Country wants to progress. Corruption and black money is slowing our progress, adversely affecting the poor. These evils have to end", he added. Farmers also found mention in PM's address when he said-"Earlier, farmers committed suicide due to drought but changes took place & they adopted livestock leading to white revolution". "When I took over as CM, I would tell farmers that they need to focus on water as much as they focus on electricity", PM said. He also lauded "the farmer of north Gujarat" and said they has shown to the world what he or she is capable of.
