Major setback for opposition; AAP declares 'no support' in 2019 elections
The statement comes amid constant attempts by opposition parties to a strength show against the government.
New Delhi: In a major jolt to Congress, Aam Aadmi Party Chief Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday declared that his party doesn’t stand with opposition in the alliance against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“Politics of alliance doesn’t matter, for me politics is for public and their development” Kejriwal said. “What we did in Delhi in 3 yrs, these parties weren't able to do even a fraction of that in 70 years” he added.

Kejriwal spoke on the issue the same day when UPA lost to NDA in Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Election.
The AAP boycotted the election stating that there is no chance they would support NDA and would not grant their support to Congress till Rahul Gandhi comes and seeks support from Kejriwal. “A person who cannot seek vote, how can he run a government” AAP leader Sanjay Singh said.Politics of alliance doesn't matter.
