A 56-year-old bakery employee died of a heart attack while delivering sweet parcels to customers. The deceased Venugopal, a native of Kerala, had been working at Cake World Bakery in Chamarajanagar for the past five years.
On the evening of February 12, around 7:30 p.m., he suddenly collapsed while on duty. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead upon arrival. The incident, which occurred in full public view, has left the local community in shock.
The Chamarajanagar Town Police have registered the case and are investigating the matter.

In a separate incident, a 23-year-old woman, Parineeta Jain, collapsed and died while dancing at her cousin’s wedding in Vidisha. Parineeta, a resident of Indore, had traveled to Bhopal to attend the wedding festivities, which were being held at a resort in Vidisha. Witnesses reported that she was enjoying the celebrations when she suddenly fell unconscious. Despite immediate efforts to revive her, she was pronounced dead shortly after.
The exact cause of her death is yet to be determined.
In another incident, a Pune man died of cardiac arrest while trekking Torna Fort in Pune. The 44-year-old man was identified as Ranjit Mohandas Shinde who was a native of Songav and a dairy business owner.
He passed away complaining of chest pain near the fort Later, his body was brought down from the fort with the help of disaster management team.
The authorities are also urging people to be mindful of health issues, especially those in physically demanding jobs.
