Bye Bye TikTok, Welcome TakaTak: Indian Firm's Answer To Banned Chinese App

Now India based company MX Player has launched Taka Tak and alternative to the Chinese app Tik Tok which has been banned by the Indian government.

New Delhi:  India based MXPlayer launches TakaTak as an alternative for the popular app TikTok which was banned earlier this month including 58 other Chinese apps. TakaTak is one of many TikTok alternatives that is trying to gain the same amount to popularity as TikTok. The short video streaming app TikTok gained a lot of popularity among the youth of India, as it was a source of entertainment. Going by Goggle's description, "MX TakaTak offers you real and fun videos that you can watch and share on social media. MXPlayer’s TakaTak comes in various Indian languages including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Gujarati as well as English. Indian Alternatives Several other Indian apps have come into the spotlight up ever since the ban, these include Mitron, Roposo, Chingari, Bolo Indya and HiPi Zee5. Although Zoom, is not a Chinese app and wasn’t banned in India but Jio’s alternative JioMeet is taking on video conferencing giants like Google and Zoom, the platform can support 100 people at once in a video conference and it is absolutely free. Meanwhile, the report is TikTok based scams are also on the rise. Fraudsters are using TikTok as an excuse for phishing attacks and take private information of people. An SMS claiming to be a version of TikTok which can be used in India called TikTok Pro turn out to be a total scam ad potential threat to user's private information.
