New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation from the ramparts of Delhi's Red Fort on the occasion of India's 75th Independence Day on August 15, Sunday. His address to the nation is likely to begin at 7.30 a.m. after he unfurls the national flag at the Red Fort.
This will be Prime Minister Modi’s eighth consecutive Independence Day speech since 2014.

Elaborate security arrangements have been made by the Delhi Police across the national capital, and particularly at the Red Fort, which has already been closed for the public due to the Independence Day celebrations.
Prime Minister Modi’s Independence Day address can be heard at All India Radio’s FM Gold channel.
