New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party national convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday jointly launched the 'CM di Yogshala' programme in Patiala, Amritsar, Ludhiana, and Phagwara, reported PTI. Under this initiative, people will be able to avail free yoga classes in these four cities.

As part of the initiative, people can give a missed call on 7669400500 to seek a free yoga teacher.

Addressing a gathering in Patiala, Kejriwal said that the programme was being launched in four cities in the first phase and will later be launched throughout the state.

"If a group of 25 want to do yoga in their mohalla or any colony, then all one has to do is to give a missed call on the given phone number and the Punjab government will provide a free yoga teacher after taking all details from the caller.

"The teacher will teach yoga for free as per people's convenience in the morning," Kejriwal said.

The Delhi CM took the opportunity to take a jibe at the Delhi LG during his address saying, "How long will they stop the good works being done for the public?"

"The yoga classes which were stopped by LG in Delhi, today the same yoga classes have started in Punjab. Taking the blessings of the almighty and the people along with us, wherever we get the opportunity, we will continue to work for the benefit of the people," he said.
