He Should’ve Apologised, But Everything Is Now Being Dragged: Shrikant Tyagi’s Wife

A video of Tyagi had emerged online where he could be seen threatening and assaulting a woman in the Noida’s Sector 93 Grand Omaxe housing society over plantation of trees.

New Delhi: Following Shrikant Tyagi’s arrest, his wife Anu Tyagi while acknowledging that her husband did wrong said that apologies should have been given to him on immediate basis and that everything that followed after the incident was being exaggerated, reported news agency ANI.

"What happened was wrong, he should've apologised. The topic was that he insulted a woman. It should have been handled like that. But everything is now being dragged. Our car, trees, house, everything has suddenly become illegal," Anu Tyagi, told the news agency.
