Fresh suicide attempt at Delhi Metro, 25-yr-old jumps before train

New Delhi: Another suicide attempt was made at the Delhi Metro station on Monday where a 25-year-old woman, working at a private hospital, jumped before a Metro train at Guru Dronacharya station during early hours. Officials said the incident was reported from the Guru Dronacharya station at about 7:30 AM when the woman identified as F Nishat allegedly jumped on the track even as the train bound for Samaypur Badli was moving in. The lady, an employee of a private hospital, suffered a fracture on her right hand and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. Metro services were disrupted for about ten minutes, they added. In the past few days, many such attempts have been made at Delhi metro. On Saturday, a woman took her life by jumping in front of a Metro train along with her child.  In a similar incident, a man committed suicide my jumping on tracks at Girish Park Metro station at around 10.45 a.m. on Sunday.
