Demonetisation: PM asked for 5 days, then 5 weeks & now 50 days, says Mallikarjun Kharge

New Delhi: The Opposition leaders today stage protest at Gandhi statue inside Parliament premises over the demonetisation issue. Hitting out at the ruling BJP, Earlier, Congress Party's Mallikarjun Kharge said, reported ANI,- "Earlier PM asked for 5 days, then 5 weeks and now 50 days; This isn’t right as not even 50% of the situation got better in 1 month." Talking about LK Advani’s statement recently Mallikarjun said-"Don’t know how much impact LK Advani’s statement had on government, but we've been trying to carry on with the debate." It is pertinent to mention here that it’s been one month since the Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes were banned by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led BJP government.
