List Of Vehicles Exempted From Delhi Odd-Even Scheme

Odd-even vehicle scheme: "Unlike previous occasions, privately owned CNG vehicles will this time not be exempted," CM Kejriwal announced.

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday announced that the proposed odd-even scheme to check the air quality in the national capital, will be implemented from November 4th till November 15th . He said that a penalty of Rs 4000 will be fined from those found breaching the transport rationing formula. Unlike previous occasions, privately owned CNG vehicles will this time not be exempted, CM announced. The scheme will be applicable from 8 am to 8 pm from Monday to Saturday, not on Sundays. Here is the list of those exempted from the restriction:

  • President of India
  • Vice President of India
  • Prime Minister of India
  • Vehicles of Union Ministers
  • Governors of states
  • Chief Justice of India
  • Speaker of Lok Sabha
  • Vehicles of members of Rajya Sabha & Lok Sabha
  • Vehicles of Leaders of Opposition
  • Vehicles of Chief Ministers of States & UTs
  • Persons with disabilities
  • Women Drivers
  • Vehicles carrying school students
  • Vehicles of Supreme Court Judges
  • UPSC Chairperson
  • Chief Election Commissioner
  • Election Commissioners
  • CAG
  • Dy Chairman Rajya Sabha
  • Dy Speaker of Lok Sabha
  • Lt Governor of Delhi
  • Judges of Delhi High Court
  • Lokayukta
  • Emergency services
