In its latest doodle, Google India has honored food service workers. The series of doodles was started by celebrating doctors, nurses and medical workers.

New Delhi: Google India is honoring the essential service providers for their fearless work amid Covid-19 lockdown. The Coronavirus pandemic continues to have an unprecedented impact on the world. In these tough times, as most people stay indoors to follow lockdown norms, there are those who are working tirelessly to ensure that people can receive important services. Seeing this, Google has come up with a series of doodles to celebrate these "Corona warriors". In its latest doodle, Google has honored food service providers who ensure that people receive the food they need. "Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear gloves, hairnets and masks. Thank you, food service workers for keeping us fed," Google India tweeted. Previously, Google had celebrated shipping and delivery workers for as "the ones who help us stay safe indoors by getting everything we need to our doorsteps." The search giant had initiated the series by thanking the invaluable service of doctors, nurses and medical workers who are at the forefront in fighting the battle against Covid-19. Meanwhile, Google India on its Twitter handle is also spreading awareness about issues such as the must-dos to prevent the pandemic from spreading and how one can deal with stress amid the lockdown. The company has collaborated with the Indian government to provide locations of food shelters and night shelters across the country so that when you encounter someone who needs food and shelter, you can help them by using Google search to guide them to the nearest shelter that can help them.
