Chennai: Four killed, many critical after falling off crowded suburban train
The incident occurred at about 8:45 am when the Tirumalpur-bound slow train was heading towards Platform number 3 of St. Thomas Mount station.
Chennai: Four passengers standing on the footboard of a crowded suburban train were killed on Tuesday.
The incident happened during the morning rush hour where some people hit a wall and fell off at St Thomas Mount here. Three others were also injured in the incident. According to preliminary reports, the commuters were travelling on the footboard in view of peak hour congestion.#Chennai: 4 local #train passengers killed and over 10 injured while travelling on EMU footboard. They were hit by iron poles beside the #railway track at St Thomas Mount.
