Cab driver attempts to rape air hostess in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A cab driver allegedly attempted to rape an air hostess here, police said on Tuesday. The incident occurred late on Monday night in Rajendra Nagar under the limits of Cyberabad police commissionerate. According to police, the cab driver took the young woman to an isolated place in his Tavera car and attempted to rape her but she resisted. The victim, in a complaint lodged with police, said the accused escaped with her mobile phone and cash. Police have registered a case and were investigating. They were trying to track down the vehicle with the help of CCTV footage.
