BJP MP Savitribai Phule makes CONTROVERSIAL statement, calls Lord Ram 'manuvadi'
She also said “only Dalits should be kept as priests in all the temples in the country because only 3% Pandits have only taken over everything”.
New Delhi: Bharatiya Janta Party MP Savitribai Phule, who is famous for making controversial statements, has once again made a vexed comment. Using the term ‘manuvadi’ for lord Ram, Savitribai questioned that if Lord Hanuman wasn’t a Dalit, why wasn’t he made a human and why was he turned into a monkey? She further asked why he was given a tail.
Phule further lashed out at Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and said “Yogi’s love for Dalits is only a showoff and if he loves Dalits, he must hug them and give them respect”.
She also said “only Dalits should be kept as priests in all the temples in the country because only 3% Pandits have only taken over everything”.
MP Phule said hundreds of crores of rupees are being spent in the name of statues and temples; if this money is distributed among poor, the poverty will come down. She further said that these people did not remember ram temple for 4 years, but now that elections are taking place, they remembered Lord Ram.
Temple will be constructed either by law or amicably: Goyal
Union Minister Piyush Goyal, who had gone to campaign for BJP in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur; stated that the Ram Temple will be for sure constructed in Ayodhya, be it through law or will be decided mutually.
