Bihar Weather Forecast: The temperature has continuously been dropping in Bihar over the past week owing to the cold wave sweeping North India. Cold days have persisted in the state, especially in the southern parts of the state, including capital Patna, and the western parts of North Bihar.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Bihar is still far from being relieved from the intense cold. The severe cold will continue throughout Bihar till Makar Sankranti (January 14). Also, dense fog will prevail in all the districts in the morning and at night.
According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum and maximum temperatures will drop by 2-3 degrees from Wednesday, January 8, for the next two days. On January 10, a strong western disturbance will affect northwest India. This will lead to more snowfall in the mountainous areas and its impact will be felt throughout Bihar with the cold intensifying further.
