Apologise for ISI remark on PM: Centre asks Kejriwal

New Delhi: Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Wednesday sought a public apology from Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over the "ISI agent" remark made against Prime Minister Narendra Modi by Delhi's Water Minister Kapil Mishra. "We condemn such shameful remarks. It is height of shamefulness. We demand a public apology from Arvind Kejriwal for this shameful and malicious remark against our prime minister," Prasad said at a press conference here. He said no minister of any government has ever made such malicious remarks against the prime minister of the country. "Kejriwal should apologise for this act of his minister. On one hand, he expects cooperation from the Centre, but on the other, his minister is making malicious remarks against our prime minister," Prasad said. Mishra kicked off a row on Tuesday after he termed Modi an ISI agent. "Do we have an ISI agent as PM now?? Its very serious the way PM is surrendering to anti India forces?" Mishra tweeted on Tuesday.
