43 people dead in Bihar, UP & Jharkhand due to heavy storm and lightning

The maximum damage took place in Gaya, Katihar where and Aurangabad areas of Bihar. Even in Unnao, UP a lot of damage has been caused by thunderstorm.

New Delhi: At least 43 people lost their lives and several got injured in Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Bihar after a massive storm and lightning hit these states on Monday. The same also resulted in huge loss to property. The maximum damage took place in Gaya, Katihar where and Aurangabad areas of Bihar. Even in Unnao, UP a lot of damage has been caused by thunderstorm. Even in UP’s Unnao, 4 people lost their lives. The maximum deaths took place after the walls of houses collapsed or electric poles and trees fell on the people. The people have been advised to remain indoors and be careful during the storm.
