On the night of 7 April, some youths were talking to each other standing on this drain in front of the shop, suddenly the slab gave up and all of them fell into the manhole and moments later a bike parked nearby also fell on them. But it was fortunate that the drain was dry and the youths who fell in the drain suffered minor injuries.

On this matter, the shop owner told that as soon as the ground sank, it felt as if an earthquake had occurred. Within just three seconds, five youths got into it. Thankfully the drain was dry, otherwise, someone could have died. The man told that this drain is three feet deep. But there was no water in it, otherwise, a big accident could have happened. He told that many such accidents have happened in the drain.
