New Delhi: In a viral video of Rajasthan's Jaisalmer, five youths drowned in a drain due to the sinking of a concrete slab on a rain drain in the Baba Bawdi area of the city, and the incident was recorded on CCTV camera.

On the night of 7 April, some youths were talking to each other standing on this drain in front of the shop, suddenly the slab gave up and all of them fell into the manhole and moments later a bike parked nearby also fell on them. But it was fortunate that the drain was dry and the youths who fell in the drain suffered minor injuries.

Later, the youths who had fallen in the dry drain came out with the help of the people standing nearby. This incident of 7 April was captured in the CCTV installed nearby. Its footage is going viral since Tuesday evening. This incident also raises a question mark on the construction work done here.
On this matter, the shop owner told that as soon as the ground sank, it felt as if an earthquake had occurred. Within just three seconds, five youths got into it. Thankfully the drain was dry, otherwise, someone could have died. The man told that this drain is three feet deep. But there was no water in it, otherwise, a big accident could have happened. He told that many such accidents have happened in the drain.
