Idli is considered to be one of the healthiest foods and it contains good amounts of carbs, protein, and fiber. Sometimes people end up making idlis in a large quantity and so they end up being leftover the next day. Every homemaker thinks about ways to put the leftover Idlis to use. In such a situation, it feels necessary to reinvent the dish. So here are some ways with which you can use the leftover Idlis.

With the remaining Idlis, you can make either fried Idlis or spice them up to give a new flavour. The dish will be liked by both kids and elders of the house. Here's the recipe:
Fried Tadka Idli Recipe
1- First add butter to a pan.
2- Now add a teaspoon of mustard seeds, fresh curry leaves, and dry red chillies.
3- Now add some spices like 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp cumin powder, 1/2 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 red chili powder.
4- Mix the spices well and add mini Idlis to it.
5- If you have bigger-sized idlis, you can cut them into 4 pieces.
6- This will ensure that the masala gets well coated on the Idlis.
7- If salt was already added to the Idlis, you can adjust and add more salt accordingly.
8- Now add a little black pepper powder and mix.
9- Top it with a little butter, garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
10- You can eat it with tomato chutney, sauce, or peanut coconut chutney.
