Yuvika Chaudhary Apologises For Using Casteist Slur In Vlog, Says 'Didn't Know Meaning' After Facing Severe Backlash From Netizens

Yuvika Chaudhary has apologised for using a casteist slur in her latest YouTube video.

After facing the wrath of angry netizens over use of a ‘casteist slur’ in one of her vlog, actress Yuvika Chaudhary has issued an apology on social media. This comes after one of her video went viral on internet where the Bigg Boss fame can be seen using a word  in reference to a certain community saying that she does not want to be ‘looking like them’.

Yuvika’s video lead to heavy social media trolling and hashtag ‘Arrest Yuvika Chaudhry’ also trended on Twitter following which the actress posted an apology message which reads: “Hi guys I didn’t know the meaning about that word wt I used in my last vlog I didn’t mean to hurt anyone and I can never do that to hurt someone I apologise to each n every one I hope you understand love you all”

The 'Bigg Boss 9' contestant also shared a video to apologise for hurting the sentiments of the people.

For the uninitiated, on Tuesday morning a viral video of the actress from her new vlog surfaced on Twitter, where Yuvika Chaudhary is seen talking about her appearance in her conversation with her husband Prince Narula while using the casteist slur.

Recently, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actress Mun Mun Dutta used a similar casteist slur in one of her videos on YouTube. The actress had issued an apology later but was heavily criticised by netizens. Later an FIR was also filed against her under SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

On a related note, Yuvika married Prince Narula in October 2018 after dating him for two years. The couple first met in Bigg Boss 9,  where love blossomed between the two.

The actress has been part of films like Om Shanti Om, Naughty @ 40, The Shaukeens and Veerey Ki Wedding.
