Rekha spoke openly about her connection with Amitabh Bachchan and her plans to get married on the talk show Rendezvous with Simi Garewal. The actor's plans for marriage came up during their discussion, and the host advised her to come back to the show the next time with a husband.

The veteran actress, like she usually does, gave a memorable comeback and showed how far ahead of her time she was. Rekha was asked by Simi Garewal if she has any future plans to get married. She swiftly responded by asking, "You mean with a man?"

A little taken aback by the scenario, Garewal chuckled and said,"Well, not a woman obviously." As soon as she said that, Rekha quickly interrupted and replied,"Why not?" Then she added, "No, I'm just kidding," a few seconds later.
