Everything That I Wanted: Riddhi Dogra Talks About Joining The Cast Of Pitchers Season 2

Actor Ridhi Dogra, most recent member of the 'Pitchers' clan, talks about the web-series and her character.

New Delhi: A new season of the popular web-series 'Pitchers' is ready to premiere on OTT. The creators of the series have released the 'Pitchers 2' trailer, which features some new faces.

Actor Ridhi Dogra is the most recent member of the clan, joining the original cast. The actor recently talked about the web-series and her character, Prachi, who is a go-getter.

"She is an empowered woman on a playing field who has an upper hand over Naveen and Mandal. A woman in a man’s world who holds them by reins, someone who’s very clear and firm in what she does and how she does things," Ridhi Dogra said.

"I want to be part of stories that project the kind of woman that empowers yet appears nurturing. The kind of woman that exists. I want to find a balance in real and aspirational. And I certainly want to play my characters with that mind, so Pitchers 2 was everything that I wanted to be a part of," the actor added.

'Pitchers' first season focused on the lives of four friends who quit their day jobs to launch a business together, and its second season will tell the tale of their expanding start-up Pragati.

The second season of the series stars Naveen Kasturia, Arunabh Kumar, Abhay Mahajan, Abhishek Banerjee, Sikander Kher, Gopal Dutt, and Ashish Vidyarthi in major roles. Produced by TVF, and spanning across 5 episodes, 'Pitchers' Season 2 will start streaming on ZEE5 from December 23, 2022.

Meanwhile, in the movie 'Lakadabaggha', which is about an ordinary guy on a remarkable mission to combat the illicit animal trading market, Ridhi Dogra will make her acting debut as the lead. The actor will also appear in 'Jawan' and 'Tiger 3'
