New Delhi: Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt's daughter Krishna Bhatt recently got engaged to Vedant Sarda. Bhatt posted several photographs from the event on Instagram on Monday. In the first picture, Krishna and Vikram are hugging and smiling as he kisses her on the head.

The filmmaker also wrote his daughter a heartfelt note on her special day. He shared multiple photos of the couple, who were seen smiling and posing for the camera. 

"Engaged to get married!! And then I gave her away - in the words from the Fiddler on the Roof. Is this the little girl I carried? Is this the little boy at play? I don't remember growing older. When did they? When did she get to be a beauty? When did he grow to be so tall? Wasn't it yesterday when they were small?" Vikram captioned the post.

While Vedant chose a white dress, Krishna is wearing yellow and white ethnic clothing along with jewellery. Krishna Bhatt responded to her father's post by leaving a series of red heart emojis in the comment section.

Meanwhile, Krishna and Vedant also shared photographs from their engagement ceremony on Instagram. "A monsoon romance that culminated in a winter engagement. Cannot wait to see an eternity of summer," Krishna captioned the post.

Vikram and his former wife Aditi Bhatt are the parents of Krishna Bhatt. In 1998, the couple decided to separate. Vikram Bhatt later reportedly married Shwetambari Soni. On the work front, 'Judaa Hoke Bhi', which premiered in July of this year, was Vikram's most recent film.
