Thugs of Goa is one of the most anticipated movies of Sai Patil. The film beautifully discusses the mischief and thefts happening in one of the most happening tourist cities, Goa.

The movie starts with a girl looking for Jigar, a local Goan boy in the bike rental business. She wants to buy that bike at any cost because it’s a special edition, and she wishes to gift it to her husband. The gang of a few locals’ boys and girls comes to know her desire, so they make a plan to cheat her. They tell themselves owner of that bike and sell it for 13 lakhs wrongfully. When the real owner comes to know the deal, he follows this gang, and a fight starts with them. After being successful in this fraud case, they wish to do the bigger fraud with rich people coming to Goa for picnics and enjoyment. This time they take on a much bigger challenge and fall under the police trap. As the story moves, they fall into bigger and bigger troubles. Climax is the real crux of the story. So, to know what happens at the end, one must watch it. 

Actors Suryansh Tripathi and Gayatri Bansode have done a brilliant job. They impressed the audience with their good performances. Apart from them, Ruchika Singh, Manveer Singh, and Ankita Desai also made their presence felt on a louder note. Other than them, the artists like Vikky Mote, Giriraj Kulkarni, Sagar, Pabbale, Harshit Upadhyay, Pranay Teli, Sunil Kusegaonkar, Rajdev Jamdade, Yogesh Kumawat, and Navnath Shrimandilkar have also done justice to their parts.

 

The city of Goa is beautifully captured on camera. The cinematographer has tried to showcase Goa in a much more cinematic way. The direction is another USP of the film. The charisma of Sai Patil’s direction can be seen in this film. He has tried his level best to utilise the resources at his best. 

Overall, this crime thriller is worth watching. Apart from the good storyline and location, the movie justifies itself on various parameters. Despite having lesser-known faces, actors become able to hold the attention of the audience till the end and create a huge impact on the audience with their good performances. So, why wait? Go and watch it in your nearest cinema hall.
