Pavitra Punia And Eijaz Khan Part Ways After Dating For Two Years

New Delhi: Actors Pavitra Punia and Eijaz Khan, who met on 'Bigg Boss 14' and started dating after the show, have decided to go their separate ways after nearly twi years together. The decision to part ways was made five months ago, citing compatibility issues. Despite the breakup, they continued sharing the same apartment in Malad, Mumbai, until Eijaz moved out last month.  

In an interview with the Times of India, Pavitra reflected on the impermanence of things, stating that every relationship has a "shelf-life." She expressed her best wishes for Eijaz, emphasising her enduring respect for him, even though their romantic relationship has come to an end. 

“There is a shelf-life for everything, nothing is permanent. In relationships, too, there can be a shelf-life. Eijaz and I parted ways a few months ago and I will always wish him well. I respect him a lot, but the relationship did not last,” she told Times of India. 

Eijaz, in his statement to The Times of India, expressed his hope for Pavitra to find the love and success she deserves.  

“I hope Pavitra finds the love and success she deserves. She will always be a part of my duas,” he was quoted as saying by Times of India. 

 The couple had gotten engaged in 2022 and shared the update with their fans on social media. Eijaz had posted a picture with Pavitra and wrote, "Baby, if we keep waiting for the right time , It’s never gonna be, I promise you my best, Will you marry me ?

On the work front, Eijaz was last seen in the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer 'Jawan,' while Pavitra was seen in the television show 'Naagmani.' Both actors have earned recognition in the television industry, with Eijaz taking a hiatus from TV before regaining prominence through 'Bigg Boss 14'. Meanwhile, Pavitra gained fame for her negative role in 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.'
