One of the most iconic shows of Indian television Ramayan starring Arun Govil, Sunil Lahri and Dipika Chikhlia who played the integral parts of Ram, Lakshman and Sita respectively in the show recently emerged as the highest watched show in the world.
Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan was aired on Doordarshan during the lock down period.
Recently the show’s last episode was aired on Saturday, May 2 where viewers bid goodbye with a very heavy heart. However, on popular demand and to entertain the audience once again, Ramayan is going on air once again, starting from today, Monday, May 4 at 7:30 pm onwards this time on Star Plus.

From breaking TRP records to achieving maximum viewership on its finale episode, Ramayan shattered many records and emerged as the highest watched show in the world with 7.7 crores viewership on April 17.
