Neha Marda becomes a proud mother

New Delhi: TV actress Neha Marda who rose to fame with the character of Gehna from leading TV soap 'Balika Vadhu' has become a proud mother. Well, hold your horses because the actress has not been blessed with any boy or girl. She became mother to an adorable puppy. Neha has shared a picture on Instagram in which she is seen holding it in her arms. She captioned the image as,"Yes I am a mother now but not pregnant ... that's my new surprise ... my "WHISKEY."

Talking to leading entertainment portal Tellychakkar, the actress said, "I always wanted to have a puppy but because of the hectic shooting schedule I was not able to bring one. Now, I am not working and have free time so I can take care of him. My sister-in-law also loves puppies, so we both play with him." "I feel you become a mother when you get a puppy at home as he is like a baby. He can’t talk so you have to understand him. We have named him Whiskey, " Neha further added. On being asked if she is planning to have a baby anytime soon, she said,"I don’t see myself becoming a mother for five years as I am thinking to work more. I am waiting for a good opportunity in my life.”
