Meet Mudit Nayar, new lead of Colors' Devanshi post-leap

NEW DELHI: Colors' popular show 'Devanshi' is all set to take a leap and makers have already roped in Swaragini fame Helly Shah to play the titular role. Anjum Fakih who was last seen in 'Tere Sheher Mein' will essay the role of Devanshi's sister Sakshi.

Meanwhile, rumour mills were abuzz with Kumkum Bhagya fame Arjit Taneja to be the male lead but proving it false, Mudit Nayar has bagged the role.

As per the report of Tellychakkar.com, Mudit will be seen as the new generation lead. The handsome hunk who was on a break after his stint in TV show 'Badii Devrani' is set to make his comeback with the daily soap.

The story of Colors' show revolves around the tussle between god woman and a girl named 'Devanshi'. Post-leap the story will focus on lives of two sisters - Devanshi and Sakshi. Bringing in a new twist, there will also be a love triangle.

Will the track of leap be able to woo viewers? Well, for this we have to wait and watch.
