New Delhi: Mannara Chopra rose to fame with her 'Bigg Boss 17' stint. Mannara also shed light on her relationship with Priyanka Chopra, her career and her early struggle days when she was targetted in a manner similar to the BB house. Mannara also spoke about getting ad offers with a paycheck of Rs. 25,000, an amount which was way more than her monthly salary. 

Mannara Chopra recalling her struggle days

Talking about the time Mannara would do shows in India and abroad, the 'Bigg Boss 17' contestant said she got an offer to be an assistant choreographer in Mumbai. Talking about her struggle days, Mannara said she had no qualms in living with a house filled with many girls.

“My mother was very happy. Meri mummy ko lagta hai main apne aap ko zindagi mein kabhi sambhal nahi sakti thi, to unko ek opportunity mili thi ki acha chalo iska koi khayal rakh lega. And, I came to Bombay, and I was staying with so many girls but I was fine with it. Main ye nahi bolungi struggle tha,I was fine with it. Main vaise bhi, sabko pata hai, boht talkative huin, han kabhi kabhi problem ho jati thi. main bhi target hoti huin, jaise apne humesha se dekha hai BB house mein, real life mein bhi boht target mujhe karte the."( My mother used to think, I would never be able to take care of myself and that this was an opportunity that someone would take care of me… I will not call my journey a strugle. I am anyway a very talktaive person, like many people know but sometimes there used to be problems. Like the BB house, I have been a target in real life as well).

Mannara Chopra on getting Rs. 25,000 offer for ad shoot

"But I used to kind of manage because you know what your goals and ambitions are. And, apart from that when I was doing these dance classes, I started auditioning for ads because jo dance classes ke paise hote the na voh honesty se, I was hardly getting about any money; survival jo hota hai Bombay mein easy ahi hota. So, when somebody called me for an ad, and they were like you are shortlisted and if you will get selected, you will get Rs. 25,000, to mujhe laga ye to mujhe mere pure mahine ki salary bhi nahi hai.So, that was what I was really attracted to ki chalo pocket money nikal jayega..."( I started auditioning for ads because the dance classes money was nothing. So when somebody called me for an ad, and told me the salary, I thought this is more than my entire monthly income. This was why I was very attracted to this prospect thinking atleast, I will be able to make some pocket money).

Mannara Chopra calling Priyanka Chopra her inspiration

Mannara also called Priyanka Chopra her inspiration, and said that PC was always the one to inspire all the cousins in the family. "I looked up to her while growing up because I noticed how she could buy things on her own. She could stay in the best of places, do whatever she wants, and rule the world according to her terms. That was something I imbibed from her. That was something that got inside me."

Mannara Chopra has been riding high on the success of ‘Bigg Boss 17’. Mannara has been making several public appearances at events and becoming a part of music videos. She was last seen in ‘Saanware’ alongside Abhishek Kumar.
