First look of Shweta Basu's comeback show 'Chandra-Nandini' UNVEILED

New Delhi: The first look of Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming show 'Chandra-Nandni'  has been unveiled and we must say it is looking outstanding. It features actress Shweta Basu Prasad in a princess avatar and holding a sharp knife in her hand.

Shweta Basu Prasad, aka little Shruti of ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki’  is all set return on small screen with a full-fledged Ekta Kapoor’s show. The actress was mired in controversy over a year ago for her involvement in prostitution racket in Hyderabad , however was later given a clean chit by the sessions court. It had been reported that the upcoming show “Chandra-Nandni” will not be shot in cramped TV sets, but at real locations. The actors will be shooting in areas of Patna where Magadh and Pataliputra used to exist. “Ekta Kapoor is bringing her most prestigious project till date. And when she is so closely involved in every aspect of the show’s creative aspect, you can expect nothing better than the best,” said a source close to the show developers. Rajat Tokas has been roped in to play the role of Chandragupta Maurya – who was the founder of the Maurya Empire, and Shweta will be seen as Nandni. The show will beam on Star Plus this October and it will replace mythological show 'Siya Ke Ram'.
