'Entire Truth Will Come Out Soon': Divya Khosla Kumar Reacts After Pearl V Puri Gets Bail In Rape Case

A Vasai court granted bail of Rs 25,000 to Pearl V Puri, who was arrested on charges of alleged molestation and rape of a minor girl.

Mumbai: A Vasai court on Tuesday (June 15) granted bail to popular TV actor Pearl V Puri, who was arrested in an alleged molestation and rape case of a minor girl. Bollywood actress Divya Khosla Kumar, who worked with Pearl in ‘Teri Aankhon Mein’, shared a post on her Instagram story after the actor was granted bail. 

Divya said that she has immense faith on the judiciary and the 'entire truth' in Pearl V Puri’s case would come out soon. She wrote, “Bail Granted @pearlvpuri. Congratulations to all the various fan clubs for the immense support Have great faith on our judiciary that the entire truth will come out v soon Satyameva Jayate.”

Victim’s Mother Shares Post On Instagram 

The minor girl’s mother said that she didn’t complain against anyone. She wrote, “I want to make it clear once again, that I have not complained against anyone. And I am also the co-accused in this POCSO case. Justice will prevail.”  

Complainant's Lawyer To Challenge Court Order's In Bombay High Court 

According to a report in IANS, the lawyer of the complainant said that they would challenge the court order in the Bombay HC. He contended that the Mumbai police did not get any opportunity to probe the alleged rape case of a minor girl. 

Why Was Pearl V Puri Arrested? 

The ‘Meri Sasu Maa’ actor was arrested on June 4 on charges of molesting and raping a minor girl. A report in IANS said that Puri was booked under IPC Sec. 376 AB and POCSO Act, 4, 8, 12,19 and 21.  

Pearl lawyer had earlier applied for his bail on June 7; however, the hearing got postponed. He was finally granted bail on June 15, after staying in judicial custody for 11 days.

Several TV Celebs including Ekta Kapoor, Karishma Tanna, Surbhi Jyoti, Nia Sharma came out in Pearl V Puri’s support following his arrest.
