'I May Have Crossed...': Nia Sharma Issues Apology To Devoleena Bhattacharjee; Saathiya Actress Reacts!

Nia Sharma and Devoleena Bhattacharjee's war of words grabbed several eyeballs on social media. The two TV stars have apologized to each other for taking potshots.

Mumbai: Popular TV actress Nia Sharma took to social media to issue an apology to Devoleena Bhattacharjee for making a personal attack on her. Nia, who is fondly known for playing the role of Manvi in ‘Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai', apologized to Devoleena for ‘crossing the line’. Their war of words on Twitter set several tongues wagging as they took potshots at each other.

Nia posted a note on her Twitter and Instagram handles, which read, "My mom, brother, Ravi very lovingly told me I wasn't right and considering 3 close ones can't be wrong. So here I go. Hey Devoleena I may have crossed a line in being personal. I'm sorry. It was impulsive. Hope you'll forget it,” her post read.

The ‘Jamai Raja’ actress said that her mother, brother and co-star Ravi Jain told her about her mistake. She said sorry to Bhattacharjee for being ‘impulsive’ and sharing a tweet about her.  

How Did Devoleena React To Nia's Tweet?

The 'Saath Nibhaana Saathiya' actress responded to Nia's post and and offered her apology to her. She wrote, "Seems like never started.As i said badi badi sehero mein choti choti ladayee hoti rehti hai. Accept my apologies too."

How Nia-Devoleena's Twitter War Started?

The 'Naagin 4' actress extended support to Pearl V Puri after the actor arrested in an alleged molestation and rape case. She wrote, “Dear privileged Girls and Women, Do not make the heinous allegations of rape and molestation so frivolous and casual that it ceases to hold any value for posterity. @pearlvpuri. You have my support.” 

Devoleena also shared a post to slam the users, who passed comments against the victim. Many social media users connected her post to TV stars' support for Pearl as she asked them 'hold protests' for the actor.

Nia passed a personal remark on Devoleena after she noticed her tweet. The 'Khatron Ke Khiladi- Made In India' winner wrote, "Didi ko koi bata do dharna and candle march nahi kar sakte pandemic hai abhi bhi. Also Didi needs to practice her dance before she makes those pathetic dance reels thinking she’s nailing them.” She has deleted the post after issuing an apology to Devoleena. 

Bhattacharjee had strongly reacted to Nia's post, calling her 'Choti didi'. She took a dig and asked her to focus on her photo-shoots while expressing her displeasure over Sharma's comments on her Instagram reels.
