TV actor Devoleena Bhattacharjee is reportedly expecting her first child with her husband Shanawaz Shaikh. According to a report in News 18, the rumours about Devoleena's pregnancy are true, and that she is in the early stages. However, Devoleena plans to keep the news private for personal reasons. 

Devoleena Bhattacharjee reportedly pregnant

“She is [pregnant] but she does not want to announce it as of now. Devoleena likes to keep her personal matters away from the limelight and therefore she does not want to give any media attention to her pregnancy as of now. But surely, she will announce the good news whenever she feels the time is right,” a source close to the actress told News18 Showsha. 

Devoleena on pregnancy speculations

Speculation about Devoleena's pregnancy began last month when fans noticed what appeared to be a baby bump in some of her social media posts. When asked about the rumours, Devoleena neither confirmed nor denied her pregnancy. 

“I get irritated when I get messages or calls asking about rumours. If it is my personal life, I’ll tell you whenever I feel like it. Don’t bother me or don’t worry about it. Everything has the right time. There are so many rumours about me which I laugh at. I was shocked. There’s nothing one can do about it,” she told News18 Showsha.

Devoleena married Shanawaz Shaikh in December 2022. The couple had a court wedding in Lonavala, attended only by close friends.  

On the work front, Devoleena Bhattacharjee is currently seen in ‘Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya,’ got prominence with her roles in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. She also participated in Bigg Boss 13, which was won by Sidharth Shukla. She was also seen in Bigg Boss 14 and 15. 

The actor recently also criticised Bigg Boss OTT 3 contestant Armaan Malik's relationship with his two wives, Payal and Kritika, labeling it as “filth.”
