Coronavirus Lockdown Effect: After 'Naagin 4', THIS TV Show To Go OFF AIR

Nia Sharma and Vijayendra Kumeria starrer 'Naagin 4' will soon bid adieu to the viewers.

New Delhi: The Coronavirus pandemic has severely impacted the entertainment industry in India. The shooting for all films and TV shows has been has been put on hold since the past two months due to COVID-19 lockdown. Several films including ‘Sooryavanshi’, ‘83’, ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ and ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ couldn’t hit the silver screens on their scheduled release date as the cinema halls are shut. The TV industry also had to bear the brunt of the lockdown as several shows were pulled off.

Ekta Kapoor took to social media to confirm that her popular show ‘Naagin 4’ will soon go off air. The supernatural show starring Nia Sharma, Vijayendra Kumeria and Rashami Desai will be replaced by ‘Naagin 5’ at the weekend slot. Ardent fans of the hit show are shocked after hearing the news as the soon was doing well.

As per the latest buzz, another show will bid adieu to the viewers. We are talking about ‘Kartik Purnima’.

According to a report in an entertainment portal, the makers have informed the cast about the decision. The show, which airs on Star Bharat, was launched on February 3, 2020.

The channel recently decided to axe the show due to the Coronavirus crisis, which has resulted in the shoots coming to a halt, the report in SpotboyE said.

‘Kartik Purnima’ features Poulomi Das and Harsh Nagar in lead roles. The show focuses on the love story of Kartik and Purnima, who face objection from his mother due to her dusky complexion.

Several TV shows including 'Beyhadh 2', 'Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein', 'Patiala Babes', 'Nazar 2' and 'Dil Jaise Dhadke Dhadakne Do' won't return to the small screen after the lockdown ends.
