Tanushree Dutta Says She’s ‘Sick And Tired’ Of Being Harassed, Shares Tearful Video And Plea For Help

Tanushree Dutta, who ignited India’s MeToo movement, has posted a heart-wrenching video claiming she is facing continued harassment, this time inside her own home.

New Delhi: Actor and MeToo movement pioneer Tanushree Dutta has posted a disturbing video on Instagram, claiming that she is being harassed in her own home. The video, which has since gone viral across social media platforms, shows Dutta visibly distressed, crying as she details the trauma she says she continues to endure.

“I am being harassed in my own home. Mujhe mere hi ghar mein pareshaan kiya jaa raha hai,” Tanushree Dutta says in the video, wiping away tears.

The actress continues, “I just called the cops. They came and asked me to come to the police station to launch a proper complaint. I will probably go tomorrow or day after. I am not well. Mujhe itna pareshaan kiya gaya hai pichle 4 to 5 saalon mein.”

The actor, who rose to national attention in 2018 for her bold accusations against veteran actor Nana Patekar, says the psychological toll of the past several years has left her health in shambles. “Meri tabiyat kharab ho gayi hai. Main kuch kaam nahi kar paa rahi hoon. Mera pura ghar messy ho chuka hai,” she reveals.

According to Dutta, the harassment extends beyond emotional distress. She claims she has been unable to hire domestic help due to alleged interference and theft.

She said, “I cannot even hire maids because they planted maids in my house. I had such a bad experience with maids. They came and stealing stuff from my house. I have to do all my work. I am being troubled in my own house. Please someone help me.”
