Rhea Chakraborty Not Summoned By ED Says Lawyer; Investigation Continues

Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: Rhea Chakraborty has not been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for questioning today. The actress has undergone almost 25 hours of questioning by CBI till Monday.

Rhea Chakraborty the girlfriend of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has not been summoned by Enforcement Directorate (ED) for questioning today. The news was confirmed by her lawyer Satish Maneshinde. Till Monday, the actress had undergone 25 hours of questioning by the CBI team investigating the case. On Friday she was questioned for over 10 hours, seven hours on Saturday, and eight hours on Sunday. Update on CBI investigation

• A team from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday once again visited the flat of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput
• Questioning of Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik and Sushant's former manager Shruti Modi continued on Monday
• Sources in the agency said that Chakraborty is being questioned about her break-up with Sushant, when did she come to know about the death of the actor, and how she managed to enter the mortuary of Cooper hospital.
• Chakraborty is also being questioned about the WhatsApp chats where she was talking about drugs and relations with filmmaker Sandeep Singh and Shruti Modi.

The CBI team arrived in Mumbai after a Supreme Court order transferring the case to the investigative agency. This happened after Sushant's father K.K. Singh filed a complaint in a Patna police station on July 25. The CBI has till date questioned Sushant's flatmate Siddharth Pithani, personal staff Neeraj Singh, Dipesh Sawant and others. The CBI team has also visited Cooper hospital twice and the Waterstone resort where Sushant had stayed for some time besides Sushant's Bandra flat, where he was found dead on June 14. A hashtag demanding a solution to Rajput and his former manager Disha Salian's death has also been trending on Twitter.
