'Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire', helmed by Prashanth Neel, stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Prabhas, and Shruti Haasan play the main leads in the film.

New Delhi: 'Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire', helmed by Prashanth Neel, the director of KGF 2, is presently running in theaters. Prithviraj Sukumaran, Prabhas, and Shruti Haasan play the main leads in the film. Early in the morning, moviegoers rushed to theaters to see first-day screenings and share their views about the movie on social media.

Trade expert Sumit Kadel took to Twitter and wrote, “#Salaar is a MASS BONANZA which has #PrashanthNeel Signature Stamped all over it. Film starts slow but end on a High Note with a Good Interval block though real game starts from the second half when twists in the screenplay unfold. Last 1 HR is EXTRAORDINARY that has some crazy Elevation Scenes which’ll get electrifying response in theatres [sequence where Prabhas saved a girl is a goosebumps inducing stuff] Film climax is the major highlight which paved the way for Salaar Part-2.”

Here is what fans are saying:

Actor Prabhas and director Prashanth Neel, who initially worked together on the action-packed cinematic extravaganza for 'KGF', have teamed up for the first time on this film. In the movie, Prabhas portrays the title role of Salaar. Vijay Kiragandur is the film's producer under Hombale Films.
