'Kanchana 4' has finally begun production. Raghava Lawrence's Kanchana 4's casting has finally been approved and two female actresses have been roped in for the horror film. As per a Hindustan Times report, Pooja Hegde and Nora Fatehi have been finalised for the film.
Kanchana 4 to go on floors
Earlier, there were rumours about Mrunal Thakur becoming a part of the horror comedy franchise. However, Raghava Lawrence busted the myth of social media, writing, "Hi friends and fans, All the information regarding Kanchana 4 and casting that are circulating around social media are just rumors. Official announcement will be made through Ragavendra Production. Coming soon!”

And, now reports of Nora and Kiara joining the cast are rife. “Raghava Lawrence is going to direct Kanchana 4 next. There are two heroines in this film, Pooja Hegde and Nora Fatehi will star in it. The story writing for the film has been completed. Shooting is set to begin for it as soon as possible," HT quoted a source close to the development.
While the final cast of the film is yet to be announced, 'Kanchana 4' has already undergone delays. The film was supposed to go on floors last year, but the pre-production work took some time.

'Kanchana 4' is the fifth film in the horror comedy film franchise created and directed by Raghava, who also stars as the lead in all of the moives. The first part of the film franchise, 'Muni', was released in 2007, followed by the 2011 film 'Muni 2: Kanchana'. Meanwhile, 'Kanchana 2' and 'Kanchana 3' were released in 2015 and 2019.
Raghava was last seen in 'Jigarthanda Double X'. He will also be a part of projects like 'Benz', 'Adhigaram', 'Kaala Bhairava', and 'Bullet'.
