Shamita Shetty Denies Her Breakup Rumours With Raqesh Bapat, Says ‘No Truth In This’

After rumours of their split spread, Shamita Shetty and Raqesh Bapat issued an official statement on the matter. The pair requested their supporters not to believe in rumours.

New Delhi: Shamita Shetty and Raqesh Bapat met while competing on the Karan Johar-hosted Bigg Boss OTT reality show. Both of them fell in love during the show, and their relationship has lasted ever since. 

Several rumours were circulating on the internet suggesting that Shamita Shetty and Raqesh Bapat were on the verge of calling it quits with one another. Nonetheless, the duo released an official statement today rubbishing the rumour.

On Thursday morning, the internet erupted with rumours of their separation. According to an article published in Pinkvilla, a source revealed that, “Things didn’t work between them. They were clashing on too many things and hence, they decided to separate.” 

The pair has now responded to the split rumours that have been circulating on the internet since the early hours of the morning. Raqesh and Shamita shared an image of an article from a media outlet on their Instagram page, writing, "We request you all to not believe in any sort of rumours pertaining to our relationship. There's no truth in this. Love and light to everyone."

Shamita Shetty was also caught by paparazzi in the city a while ago. As soon as the paparazzi began questioning about her breakup, Shamita's reply seemed to corroborate their relationship.

Shamita had previously said in an interview that the two are not currently planning a wedding. For the time being, the pair is spending quality time together and taking pleasure in the simple things.
