Shah Rukh Khan Starrer 'Jawan' Sold To OTT Platform For Rs 120 Crores: Reports

In addition to 'Jawan' SRK also has films like 'Pathan' alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.

New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' has been making headlines ever since it was announced. Now, it has been speculated that the film has been sold to an OTT platform for a whopping amount. Besides Shah Rukh, Nayanthara and Deepika Padukone are also part of 'Jawan'.

'Jawan' is being helmed by 'Bigil' fame director Atlee. According to a Bolywoodlife report, the film's digital streaming rights have been sold to Netflix for Rs 120 crores. However, the makers of the film are yet to confirm any such deal.

Recently, Shah Rukh Khan shared his experience of working on the film during an Instagram live. He said, "There is still a long way to go. There is not much I can tell you about Jawan except the fact that I am having a great time as an actor. And Atlee, the director, it is a different kind of film. Everybody has seen his work. He makes outstanding mass oriented films, again a genre I have never done. So, I wanted to try my hands on it. And I think me and Atlee have good chemistry. I bring in some (to the film), he brings in some. Whatever we have done of Jawan is thrilling and exciting.”

'Jawan' is all set for a theatrical release on June 2, 2023. The film is being touted as a pan-India film and will release in multiple regional languages like Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.

In addition to 'Jawan' SRK also has films like 'Pathan' alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. SRK will also star in Rajkumar Hirani's next film 'Dunki' with Taapsee Pannu, another highly-awaited project.

With these films, Shah Rakh is making a return after a long hiatus to the silver screen. Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Aanand L Rai's 'Zero' alongside Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif.
