In spite of the widespread interest in the possibility of Rishab Shetty and Shah Rukh Khan working together, the source has put the rumours to rest.
New Delhi: There have been rumours floating that Hombale Films, Rishab Shetty and Rohit Shetty may collaborate on a film starring Shah Rukh Khan. The truth has recently come to light, refuting all of the rumours and speculations that have been circulating about the same topic.
A source close to the production house said, "There is ‘no truth’ to this development. After KGF, KGF 2, and Kantara, the next Pan India film from Hombale Films is Salaar with Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran. It is directed by Prashanth Neel. The banner is planning one more film for 2023, the casting of which is yet undisclosed."
In spite of the widespread interest in the possibility of such a dream team working together, the source has put the rumours to rest.
However, the claims have not been confirmed by Hombale Films or Shah Rukh Khan. It is anticipated that an official announcement will be made soon. Before then, however, fans will have to hold their breath.
Moreover, Hombale films have given some of the biggest blockbusters of the year with films like ‘KGF’, ‘KGF 2’, and ‘Kantara’. While all these films made their distinct presence in the heart of the audience, they went on to conquer the box office of the world breaking multiple records. With these films, Hombale films also hold the credit to take the name of the Kannada industry on the world map.
On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan has three films scheduled for simultaneous release in 2023. He'll be appearing in the upcoming Siddharth Anand action-packed film ‘Pathaan’. The film Jawan stars Deepika Padukone as the lead female character, Salman Khan and John Abraham, all of whom play pivotal parts. Next year, in January, the movie will hit theatres.
In addition to ‘Pathaan’, fans can see Shah Rukh Khan in Atlee's ‘Jawan’ and Rajkumar Hirani's ‘Dunki’.
