Salman Khan's Security Following Death Threats

Salman’s security concerns date back to 2018 when gangster Lawrence Bishnoi threatened to kill him during a court hearing related to the 1998 blackbuck poaching case. Over the years, multiple threats have been issued against him.

In April 2024, two shooters allegedly linked to the Bishnoi gang opened fire outside Salman’s Bandra home. The suspects were later apprehended, and security measures were ramped up — including installing bulletproof glass on his balcony and additional CCTV surveillance around his residence.

Two months later, Navi Mumbai Police uncovered a plot to assassinate him during a visit to his farmhouse in Panvel. Tensions rose further after the October 2024 murder of politician Baba Siddiqui, a close friend of Salman’s, leading to even tighter security protocols for the actor.

Salman Khan’s Recent Film

On the work front, Salman Khan was last seen alongside Rashmika Mandanna in Sikandar, directed by A.R. Murugadoss. Released in theatres on March 30, the film was produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment banner.

Despite its big release, Sikandar underperformed at the box office, collecting an estimated ₹177 crore worldwide — falling short of expectations. The ensemble cast also featured Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar, Anjini Dhawan, and Jatin Sarna.
