Priyank Sharma Attacked By Unidentified Man At Ghaziabad Hospital

'Bigg Boss 11' contestant Priyank Sharma was attacked by a man at a hospital in Ghaziabad on July 30.  The actor, who managed to escape with minor injuries, has filed a police complaint. 

Priyank was first seen in the dating reality show ‘MTV Splitsvilla’.

New Delhi: 'Bigg Boss 11' contestant Priyank Sharma was attacked by a man at a hospital in Ghaziabad on July 30.  The actor, who managed to escape with minor injuries, has filed a police complaint. 

The actor visited a hospital for his mother's checkup with his father. He was attacked, when they were making an exit from the hospital premises. 

Talking about the attack, Priyank told ETimes in an interview, “I was visiting a doctor for my mother’s check-up. My father was with us, too. Suddenly out of nowhere, this man attacked me and started hitting me. I managed to hold his hand and push him back. There was a lot of commotion. Two men from the hospital administration came to my rescue and I am really grateful to them. The guy who tried to attack me ran away. It was a scary situation.” 

Priyanka said he filed a police complaint at the Kaushambi police station. “We tried contacting the hospital later for the CCTV footage to submit it to the police, but the hospital’s security did not give it to us. The case is filed under Section 323 of the Indian Penal Code,” he was quoted as saying by ETimes. 

Priyank said he has no idea why he was attacked and is lucky enough that he escaped with just minor bruises. 

Priyank was first seen in the dating reality show ‘MTV Splitsvilla’. He then went on to participate in ‘Bigg Boss 11’. He has also starred in web series like Puncch Beat Season 2 and Mum Bhai.
