'I Lived And Breathed As Nemeli For Six Months': Preity Mukhundhan Opens Up About Kannappa

Preity Mukhundhan, overwhelmed by the positive reception to her role in "Kannappa," expressed gratitude to fans on Instagram.

Actress Preity Mukhundhan, who has been receiving tremendous appreciation for her performance in the recently released epic film Kannappa, has shared an emotional note of gratitude with her fans. The rising star took to Instagram to express how deeply she connected with her character, and how overwhelming the audience's love has been for her work in the film.

Preity Mukundhan Expresses Gratitude

Opening her heartfelt note, Preity wrote about the flood of emotions she has experienced in recent days:

"There are times in life when words feel both inadequate and essential— when love surrounds you so unexpectedly. These last few days have been exactly that for me. To everyone who has sent love, recognition, and warmth my way—you have no idea how happy your words have made me."

Six Months of Intense Preparation

The actress revealed the level of commitment and hard work that went into portraying her role in Kannappa, adding that the journey was far from easy:

"For six months, I lived and breathed as this character, struggling to learn my craft and cope with the physical intensity I had to endure. And to know that this has found its way to you all makes every sleepless night and every moment of doubt feel worthwhile. A Humbling Debut

Preity also shared that she was relatively new to acting when the film began production, yet she found herself working alongside some of the biggest names in the industry:

"I was merely two weeks old as an actor on sets, and to have stood alongside some of the most celebrated people in our industry has been nothing short of extraordinary, especially knowing that I was just beginning to find my wings. I’m still fangirling over my memories."

Grateful for New Bonds and Memories

Looking back at her experience, the actress acknowledged the friendships and inspiring encounters that made her journey all the more special:

"To all the people who have made this possible for me, I’m immensely grateful. Also, thhank you to every one of you for taking the time out to show me love and message me, I’m soooo happy. So, so much love to you all."
